The occurrence is located among agricultural fields just west of a raised RR bed. Lee Creek backs up into the lower end of the occurrence and the main part of the creek is 500 ft. to the south. A large Salix nigra tree is in the community. There is some Cuscuta vine in other areas.;The vegetation is mostly homogeneous with clumps of Hibiscus and Asclepias. The area is periodically inundated from a back up of Lee Creek and the Ohio River.The soil is saturated and spongy.
